Frequently asked questions

Is Love Bluff available yet?

Not yet. It is in pre-launch development (status as of November 7, 2026). When real App Store and Google Play listings exist, this site will link to them directly. Anything else claiming to be the Love Bluff app should be treated with caution.

Who can play?

Adults 18 and older. Love Bluff is a private two-player game: you pair with one person you choose. There is no public matchmaking and no stranger messaging.

Do we need the same kind of phone?

No. Pairing works iPhone-to-iPhone, Android-to-Android, and iPhone-to-Android.

How do we pair?

One player shares an invitation through the system share sheet or an 8-character code. Invitations expire in 24 hours, are single-use, can be revoked, and the other player must explicitly accept. One active partner per account.

How much does it cost?

The tutorial and one six-round match per pair per day are free, with free prompt categories. Optional Premium is $6.99/month or $39.99/year (USD launch pricing; stores display actual localized prices), and three permanent expansion packs are $3.99 each. There are no ads. Deleting your account does not cancel store billing — manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; links are provided in the app.

I bought Premium — does my partner get it too?

While you are paired, your partner receives derived access from your purchase, across iOS and Android. Ownership stays with the purchasing account if you unpair. Permanent packs work the same way. A client setting never grants Premium by itself — entitlements are verified server-side through our purchase service.

How do I restore a purchase?

Use “Restore purchases” in the app’s Premium/store screen while signed in with the account that bought it. Restoration is never paywalled.

What is the AI assist?

An optional button — “Help me write two bluffs” — that drafts two fake answers for you to approve or edit before anything is submitted. Limits: 2 successful assists per account per day (free) or 20 per day (Premium). The provider that receives your prompt and true answer will be named in the app and in the AI disclosure before first use. [AI PROVIDER TBD — owner to confirm.]

Can my partner see which answer is true before guessing?

No. The true answer is held in protected server-side data and is only revealed to both players after the guess is locked in.

How do I report, block, or unpair?

Report and block controls are available on rounds, questions, and replies. Unpairing in Settings immediately revokes shared access and ends active matches neutrally; blocking also prevents re-invitation. See the Community Standards.

How do I export or delete my data?

In the app: Settings → data export or account deletion. Without the app, use the web Delete Account request path. Export covers your own content and permitted aggregate results — never your partner’s unrevealed answers.

I lost connection mid-match. Did I lose?

No. Matches resume from the authoritative server state. Guesses are only scored once, after the server accepts them. Expired async matches (48 hours per turn) close without awarding a win.

Contact form

Disclosure: this form is front-end only right now — it does not send or store anything, because the support mailbox is not confirmed yet. Submitting it will not reach anyone. Once [SUPPORT EMAIL TBD — owner to confirm] is live, this notice will be removed and the form wired to it (with abuse protection). Until then, please wait for the confirmed address rather than sending personal details anywhere else.

For urgent safety issues, use the in-app Report controls first — they attach the reported content for review. Never include passwords or payment details in a support message.
